With the Primary victories of such stalwart conservatives as State Sen. Doug Lamborn (CD5), Scott Renfroe (Senate-13), Mike Kopp (Senate-22), State Rep. Ted Harvey (Senate-30) and Kent Lambert (HD-14), a blow has been struck for the conservative movement. A statement has been made. When true conservatives run boldly as conservatives, they win.
The long road to November 7th is still ahead. Our vision for The Colorado Conservative Project is two fold.
Firstly, we must elected good, solid conservatives to office, men like Lamborn and Renfroe, and courageous women like Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave. The Colorado Conservative Project hopes to help cut through the liberal lies and the media misstatements in these races.
Secondly, we must hold accountable those Republicans of weaker constitution than our previously mentioned conservative hero's. A spade is a spade, and should be called such. Promptly.
The Colorado Conservative Project joins a small, but growing community of conservative bloggers in Colorado; tired of the pandering and concessions that our Party leaders have made. Other commentators will be joining The Project over the next several weeks.

Be sure not to leave out Josh Penry's victory over a weak moderate in SD-7. He ran on and won with a strong conservative message. He's one of the good guys as well!
It has been noted! Penry is one of the good guys, we've changed the lists around a little, to included a few more of the good guys...
Welcome.
